About Chirotunes

I'm Rich Jacobs, founder of ChiroTunes, dedicated to helping chiropractic practice owners create an unforgettable practice through the power of music.

I remember turning 5, hearing a Beatles song on the radio for the first time, then noticing how it influenced memory recall and collectively elevated the mood of those around me (who otherwise weren't alway so keen or emotionally stable on average).

This early fascination drove me to become a self taught songwriter, rocking out at show, watching all the kids sing along to the songs I wrote.

That's how a punk rock geek like me, caught the attention of a high school cheerleader and convinced her to spend the next 20+ years together!

I even wrote the song we danced to at our wedding 16 years ago, and now we're a family of six. If that's not a testament to the persuasive power of music, I don't know what is?

However, not long after high school I caved into societal pressures abandoning the musician lifestyle, yet continued quietly write music throughout the years in my spare time...

While taking the "safe and secure" day job route, within the Pennsylvania prison system for the next 3 years, until I had enough of it. Saved all my pennies, got married and we moved to Arizona.

In AZ, I attended the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences then spent time on internship working with some of the biggest names in Rock and Roll of the last 30 years.

During that time was the housing bubble derivative crash of '08 and while it was cool working remotely with Rush, running the preamps for Smokey Robinson, mic'ing Elton Johns piano and more...

It was the perfect excuse for an early exit because I wanted to start a family with my supportive wife, so I chose to return to the doldrums of the state prison system where schedule was steady.

Plus that whole time at school and on the road, I barely wrote any music, there just wasn't any time and that was hard on me but it wasn't long until I quickly grew discontent...

With my return to state employment although I spent the next 12 years there, I knew I needed to figure out how to make songwriting from home; my main gig.

So I started writing jingles for random businesses, something that had fascinated me as far back as I could remember.

Clients loved them, they weren't sure how to use them and all I really did was go on their website and regurgitate their own words in song form.

I quickly discontinued the service because it felt hollow to me that I wasn't able to provide tangible results beyond the song provided, additionally we we're expecting our first born...

And the day job was kicking my butt. Not long after, I stumbled upon a jingle writing course produced 20 years earlier, it was amazing and in it he clearly stated jingles are marketing.

Like duh, right? But for me in 2012 it was a bright and shining epiphany, so I spent every waking moment (between my full time job and amazing full time family)...

All in on the study and practice of marketing and copywriting, falling in love with the craft, working in the moonlight hours for various business and applying these principals to my businesses.

They were the missing piece that my jingles needed, so a decade and 3 more beautiful babies later, I decided enough is enough with the day job, it's time for me to serve the world.

After looking around at how I could create the most impact, especially in a post lock down world. I found that chiropractors in general, had the guts to publicly stand up for logic and sanity during that mind boggling time, regardless of the consequences.

So that's what drew me to serving chiropractic but it wasn't until I learned about the Chiropractic Philosophy and it's teaching of Innate Intelligence that bonded me like concrete.

There's just something about it that deeply resonates with me at a level that's difficult to describe other than, an intuitive sense of knowing. A knowing that this is where my service belongs...

So custom music packaged properly, coupled with the psychology of copywriting and the power of digital marketing, along side a deep appreciation for chiropractic has given birth to ChiroTunes.
